Mission

Make learning & compliance simple for Caribbean institutions.

Replace spreadsheet-driven training tracking with a platform that handles compliance, reporting and audit-readiness automatically — and looks like it was built for the people who use it daily.

Position

The only LMS built around T&T regulators.

Native compliance reporting for FIUTT, TTII, the Co-op Division and the Data Protection Act. International platforms cannot match this — they serve 195 countries with generic tools.

Principle

Local where it matters. Best-in-class where it counts.

TTD billing. WhatsApp support. Caribbean content. But enterprise-grade infrastructure, modern integrations and a security posture that holds up to IT review.

The founder

Shem Legall — founder & principal.

Pixelume began with a simple observation. The compliance officers, training managers and credit union GMs I spoke with across Trinidad and Tobago were doing genuinely sophisticated work — and they were doing most of it in spreadsheets. Year after year. Audit after audit.

The international LMS platforms they could reach were either too expensive, too generic, or too disconnected from the way our regulators actually work. None of them generated a TTII CPD return. None of them knew what an AGM Education Summary was. None of them billed in TTD.

Pixelume is the platform I wanted to exist. Caribbean-built, regulator-aware, and run as a managed service — because most institutions need a partner, not just software.

What we stand for

The standards we hold ourselves to.

⚖️

Auditable by default

Every action logged. Every record retained. Every report regulator-ready without rework.

🤝

Partnership, not licensing

We are accountable for your outcomes, not just our uptime. Quarterly business reviews, not annual renewals.

🌴

Caribbean-first

Caribbean instructional designers, narrators, examples and timezones. The product reflects the region.

🧭

Political neutrality

We work with credit unions, private companies and government entities. We are not aligned to any party or movement.

Where we are going

A roadmap for the region.

Pixelume is built to scale across the Caribbean. The compliance landscape is different from country to country — Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana — but the underlying problems are the same.

PHASE 01 · NOW

Trinidad & Tobago

Establishing the platform with credit unions, insurance, SMEs, large corporates and government across T&T.

PHASE 02

Self-owned platform

Migration to fully self-hosted infrastructure — deeper customisation, full data sovereignty, zero vendor risk.

PHASE 03

Caribbean expansion

Localised compliance modules for Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana — extending the regional regulator coverage.

PHASE 04

LatAm & beyond

Spanish-language deployments for partner organisations across Latin America with shared compliance frameworks.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

No. Pixelume is built for workforce and institutional learning — credit unions, insurance, SMEs, corporations and government. Schools and universities have specialised pedagogical and student-management needs that other platforms address far better.

International platforms (Docebo, TalentLMS, Moodle Cloud, Udemy Enterprise) are excellent at generic global learning. They do not generate Trinidad & Tobago compliance reports, are typically billed in USD, and offer little contextual relevance for Caribbean workplaces. Pixelume is purpose-built for our region's regulators, currency, support hours and content context.

Most clients are live within fourteen days of signing. Week 1 is configuration: branding, domain, user roles, course assignments. Week 2 is launch: bulk user upload, admin training, learner communications. From day fifteen, learners are using the platform and our team is actively supporting adoption.

You do. Any custom course built by Pixelume's instructional design team for your organisation is your intellectual property — fully transferable, fully exportable in SCORM format if you ever leave the platform.

Pixelume is designed around the Trinidad & Tobago Data Protection Act. We provide configurable retention policies, audit logging, role-based access control, two-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, and documented data-handling procedures for IT and compliance review.

Yes. We offer thirty-day pilot programmes on your data, with your users, on a branded portal. The pilot setup fee and usage fee are fully credited toward Year 1 if you choose to proceed with a full deployment.

In Trinidad & Tobago dollars. All clients are billed in TTD via bank transfer, WiPay card payments or invoice. International clients can be billed in USD through our US LLC. We discuss pricing transparently during the discovery call — every engagement is scoped to your size, complexity and goals.
